Our presence at the new edition of the World ATM Congress
World ATM Congress, the largest air traffic management (ATM) exhibition, provides an international platform for the global commercial and defence air traffic management (ATM) industry, and the world’s aviation decision-makers. As in previous editions, we were present at WATMC Madrid 2017 to share with them our strong expertise, whether in solutions integration or products conception.
Therefore, we would like to thank our numerous visitors who joined us on the stand. This was a unique opportunity to discuss about their needs and to demonstrate them the latest features of our product line. By displaying our AIRview console, a product that unifies all AIRline products on an ATC-dedicated workstation, our product team conducted demonstrations that have allowed visitors to live a real customer experience.
This year, here are the main changes we have made in our AIRline product range :
AIRtouch, the integrated tower system becomes mobile with a terminal usable in-situ
AIRvoice, the full IP VCS has new interfaces for HF radios
AIRrecord, the IP audio recorder is coupled with the video recording of operators stations
AIRview, a new design for the integrated tower working position
Top managers from various civil aviations were also impressed by the degree of our expertise as a solution integrator. Our references in telecommunications, energy and other related services, demonstrate our know-how, particularly in complex projects with harsh environments which are strategic for our customers, such as VSAT networks for ATM.
New contract in Egypt
For instance, we can mention the «NVN III, National ATM VSAT Network» reference project, for our client NANSC which is underway. To cover the full Egyptian airspace, 23 VSAT stations and MW datalinks for ATM telecommunications including radar, AMHS information and voice communications will be installed.
An airspace always more secure for ASECNA
Furthermore, in the framework of the « extension of ATM VSAT networks » project for ASECNA, a complex multisite project that concerns 87 sites based in 18 countries, our teams ensured the good fulfilment of the coordination amongst these sites. We provide all the technical package needed in VHF and VSAT telecommunications (transmitters, receivers, antennas), energy (28 stand alone solar energy stations), and supervision package (monitoring and control system, hypervision).
AFISNET project for ASECNA
After the deployment of more than 100 stations in Africa, the project scope was to provide communication services between Africa and South America via a satellite network. The AFISNET VSAT stations of Cayenne and Piarco have been commissioned to modernize the communication means between 3 FIRs. The Recife station (Recife-Dakar and Recife-Abidjan) in Brazil is currently being deployed.
« Green Airports » in Chad
During the last months, we also deployed energy and runway lighting services on three airports based in Chad (Moundou, Amdjarass & Niamtougou). To ensure continuous and optimal energy supply, two green power plants have been installed, complemented by solar panels which will provide energy for two complete AGL systems along the 2×3000 meters runways and 900 meters simplified approaches.
